A Look Ahead to the 2026 Costa del Sol AA Convention

For 2026, our Keynote Speaker is Tim M from London.
Tim brings incredible experience as both a main share speaker and workshop leader. He is a member of AA and Al-Anon, sober since 1993, and is known for his clear, concise, and powerful message of recovery. His shares and workshops appear on a regular basis online.

Discover Fuengirola – So Much More Than a Convention!
Located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, Fuengirola is one of the region’s most loved seaside towns — a perfect mix of history, relaxation, and adventure. Just a short walk from the convention hotel, you’ll find the Sohail Castle, a 10th-century fortress overlooking the sea. The town itself blends ancient roots with a lively modern vibe, once a fishing village, now a favourite destination for travellers from around the world. Stroll the beautiful promenade, explore local tapas bars, or unwind in a café with Churros con Chocolate. Whether you're up for shopping, beach days, or cultural trips, Fuengirola has it all. The nearby train makes it easy to explore Málaga, Benalmádena, and Torremolinos in no time. For the active visitor, there’s a 5km coastal path ideal for walking, jogging, or cycling — leading all the way to the sand dunes of Cabopino. And if sports are your thing, the Costa del Sol offers world-class golf, tennis, padel, and more. |
